Block contestants Sharon and Ankur are threatening to quit the show on an upcoming episode of Channel Nine’s renovation series after host Scott Cam attacked the contestants.
In a wild trailer released on Tuesday, a voiceover announces that “the reckoning has come” as 59-year-old Scott lashes out at The Blockheads alongside Shelley Craft.
“We need a change of attitude from you guys,” says Scott.

The camera cuts to the couple Sharon and Ankur, then to Sarah-Jane and Tom.
“I think what you need to do is not have excuses like ‘you did this’ or ‘you did that,'” he adds.
“They made the comment: ‘Seven weeks of this nonsense and we can get out of this hell hole!’
‘We know what you’re saying. We know everything you say!’ Scotty says. “You have a microphone on. You can leave! You can go whenever you want.”

“I guess we just stopped,” says Ankur

It’s unclear exactly which team Scott is referring to or talking to, but the bombshell comes after contestants Sharon and Ankur drew the ire of viewers who caught Tuesday night’s show.
The couple complained about appearing on the show and got into a fight with foreman Keith Schleiger.

‘I’m leaving. I can’t be fucked. He’s just an idiot,” Sharon scolded.
“Just remember that outside of this you have an amazing life and these people aren’t going to break you,” she continued, speaking to herself.
“This is just a TV show designed to break you down for good TV.
“They don’t care about you, it’s just entertainment. Even if we are not treated like human beings, we must treat everyone else like human beings.’

Elsewhere in the episode, Sharon fumed, “I hate it here! how shit is it?’
“I can’t wait to get out of here,” her husband Ankur agreed.
Viewers watching at home weren’t impressed by the controversial couple’s tantrum, which saw them have to get out entirely at the site.
“I seriously wonder if Sharon and Ankur have ever seen a full season of The Block,” one person wrote on Twitter.

“Sharon and Ankur are acting like the most privileged kids I’ve seen on TV. It’s embarrassing to watch,” complained another.
“Given all their lies, Ankur and Sharon don’t seem to understand that cameras are filming everything AND it is then shown on TV,” another wrote.
“You have no work ethic Sharon,” another person wrote on Twitter.
“Is it just me or is Sharon a precious, massive, whining nuisance? Cheating with the wine recipe and lying about it and in her room last night was nowhere near a gain. Get over your dirt and clean up!’ said another.

Sharon and Ankur sparked controversy after refusing to admit they’d won $50,000 in prizes in a winemaking challenge with Google.
The pair were interviewed by hosts Scott Cam and Shelley Craft after they managed to recreate a nearly identical blend of wines.
Shelley asked if they “knew how to do it,” but Ankur stuck to his story that the pair had exceptional noses when it came to wine.
Sharon, who is of Indian descent, received vile racist messages online during the public backlash.
