Kim Kardashian enters the world of investing by starting her own private equity firm.
The reality TV star, known for appearing with his family on the reality show Keeping Up With The Kardashians and its sequel, The Kardashians, has teamed up with Jay Sammons, the former head of consumer investments at Private -Equity firm The Carlyle Group.
Together they found SKKY Partners, targeting investments in the consumer, luxury, hospitality and digital commerce sectors, as well as the media and entertainment industries.
“The exciting part is sitting down with these founders and finding out what their dream is,” said Kardashian, 41.
“I want to support what that is, not change who they are in their DNA.”
Sammons previously invested in Beats, made by US rapper Dr. Dre founded headphone brand, as well as the clothing label Supreme.
