There are fears for a pregnant woman who was violently attacked by a teenage girl as she was walking her two young children in a stroller.
The 37-year-old mum was walking down an alleyway in Perth at Smallman Place, Ashfield, on Monday at 12.40pm when a teenager on a scooter approached her from behind.
Disgusting CCTV footage shows the girl yanking the five-month pregnant woman to the ground by her hair – before dragging her away from her children across the concrete.
The mother had been struggling to hold on to her stroller, which overturned as she was thrown onto the path, leaving her young twins screaming in terror and kicking their legs in the air.
Police have since expressed fears for the mother-to-be’s health after she fell on her stomach during the attack, urging her to seek immediate medical attention.

Horrified commentators flooded social media with shock and horror at the incident, which took place in broad daylight in a Perth suburb
The footage released by WA Police sparked a wave of outrage on social media, with many shocked by the violence and others concerned for the well-being of the mother and children.
The twins dangled on their backs in their upside-down stroller while their mother tried to fend off their attacker, who rained down punches to the mother’s head.
“I hope they’re okay… thank god the mother strapped the kids in the stroller properly… they would have been so scared,” one person said.
“This poor mother and her young children must be traumatised, I hope they are well including the unborn baby. It’s absolutely shocking,” said another.
While the mother suffered some cuts and bruises in the incident, a spokesman told 9News Perth they had urged her to see a doctor about her pregnancy.

The girl has been charged with robbery and is due to appear in Geraldton Magistrates Court on September 13.

Investigators released CCTV footage of the attack to find out what happened and asked that anyone with relevant information contact the police.
Video before the attack showed a teenager riding a scooter down the alley behind another young girl.
Police confirmed that a second girl was also arrested as part of the early investigation but has not been charged in connection with the attack.
Neighbors told The West Australian they were “disgusted” by the brutal daylight attack, as some other local mothers are now too scared to leave their homes.
“How can someone that age have the audacity to do that… an adult with a stroller, it’s disgusting,” said a neighbor.
“I’ve never experienced or heard of violence of this kind here.”
Another added: “I’m a mum to a little boy and I walk the same street it makes me stop walking around there.”
