The 29-year-old left Manchester United for a free transfer to the Serie A club this summer
According to L’Equipe, here’s what the surgeon said after Pogba was put under the knife: “In agreement with the Juventus doctors, we have indicated a necessary time of eight weeks for Pogba to return to the team and resume training together.
“This is the estimated time. After that we have to evaluate the conditions and reactions when he tries.”
The 29-year-old announced on social media on Tuesday that the surgery was a success and he expects to return in the near future.

He also insisted he was holding his own despite his brother Mathias Pogba’s recent allegations implicating him in a scandal surrounding Kylian Mbappe.
Mathias had accused his younger brother last month of using a witch doctor to put a spell on the PSG superstar.
The world champion said: “The operation went very well, I will recover and come back very, very soon. I wanted to thank you all for your messages and support.
“Do you know that despite all the worries, the injury and the other problems, I’m fine mentally. Mentally I’m fine.’
