- Jürgen Klopp’s side then have a week to prepare for the Premier League
- The first game of their season will take place on August 6 against newly promoted Fulham
Liverpool will play friendlies against RB Leipzig and RC Strasbourg Alsace in July as they prepare for the new Premier League season.
Jurgen Klopp’s troops return to training in Kirkby on Monday July 4, just over a month before their first game of the season against Fulham on August 6.
The Reds embark on a tour of Southeast Asia on July 9, meet Manchester United in Thailand three days later and Crystal Palace in Singapore on July 15.

RB Leipzig then hosts Liverpool at the Red Bull Arena on Thursday 21 July, kick-off is at 18.15.
That gives the squad nine days to return to England and train ahead of the Community Shield final against Manchester City, which gives both sides a chance to make a statement ahead of another Premier League attack.
Just a day later, French club RC Strasbourg Alsace travel to Merseyside for a 7.30pm clash against the Reds.

The Leipzig friendly will offer Liverpool defender Ibrahima Konate an opportunity to take on his former club after he joined Anfield for £36million last May.
Jurgen Klopp handed the 23-year-old 29 appearances in all competitions last season and entrusted him with six out of seven knockout games in the Champions League.
The friendlies will also give Liverpool fans their first glimpse of club-record signing Darwin Nunez, who joined from Benfica for an all-encompassing £85million fee this month.
