Kmart has slashed the price of its wooden serving boards – from $20 to just 10 cents in a sale that has sent fans of the retailer into a frenzy.

One happy customer who managed to get their hands on some of the boards posted a picture of the sale item to a Facebook group of Kmart fans.

And people quickly accepted the offer: “Great, I’ll take ten,” said one woman.

While others tagged their friends and boasted about discovering the incredible deal.

“Oh no, someone’s getting fired. This is certainly a big mistake,” wrote one man.

“Surely it should say $10,” said another.

Others were upset, noting that it was “impossible” for them to get one of the super cheap boards.

“They’d all be gone for ten cents,” complained one woman.

“I would love this for a craft project but I don’t know anyone who lives near this store,” complained another.

“Why doesn’t my Kmart ever have sales like this,” complained a third.

But one woman gave them hope, noting she had also gotten a good deal on the board in a NSW shop.

“My husband got me one from the Figtree store,” the woman said.

The product is no longer available on the retailer’s website.
