A 160-foot James Bond superyacht named 007 has sunk just meters off a Greek beach.
The ship, believed to be owned by a Swiss businessman but flying the British flag, ran aground after hitting rocks just 49ft off the picturesque bay of Kolona on the island of Kythnos.
The boat’s GPS reportedly malfunctioned, guiding the boat towards shore, causing it to hit heavily on the port side as water rushed in.
The Coast Guard answered Mayday calls and the five passengers on board were quickly rescued after it began to sink Friday night.
On Saturday the yacht was almost completely submerged.

The superyacht was developed by Bodrum-based shipyard Aegean Yachts in 2006 and rescuers were able to contain it with a floating dike wall, limiting pollution.
The Coast Guard is investigating the sinking.
A local boat owner told the SWNS news agency: “They say the captain had a problem with the depth and hit the bottom.
“In order not to be sunk, he sailed closer to shore, less than ten meters deep, and that’s how the ship got to that position. No people were injured.
“The Coast Guard was immediately alert and sent help during the night. The next morning they set up an anti-pollution perimeter. It appears there was no diesel leak or damage to the landscape.’
