A jet set financier known as “Insta-Banker” has fought a bitter legal battle against his former lawyers.
Anthony Watson runs the Bank of London and is the only openly gay head of a British bank.
He takes legal action against the Simmons & Simmons law firm in the city.

Watson’s financial services startup, of which Lord Mandelson sits on the board, has accused Simmons & Simmons of a conflict of interest and failure to protect its confidential business plans.
The Bank of London is a newly licensed clearing bank that will process payments in the UK and abroad.
It has yet to be officially launched and has no customers. Watson caused a stir after posting pictures of his lavish lifestyle on Instagram.
A bank spokesman said: “Simmons & Simmons showed contempt for us as customers. We don’t get bullied. We will see this through to the end.”
