Former Real Madrid star James Rodriguez has reportedly agreed a loan move to Galatasaray in what would become the ninth club of his career.
The 31-year-old currently plays for Qatari club Al-Rayyan but appears keen on a return to Europe after a year in the Middle East.
Last week he declared he was ‘leaving Qatar’ and taking a pay cut to sign for Spanish club Valencia.

According to Turkish journalists Yagiz SabuncuogluGalatasaray have loaned out Rodriguez but negotiations continue over how his £5.2million annual salary will be split.
The Turkish club reportedly only want to pay a third of the salary but Al-Rayyan would prefer a 50/50 split.
Rodriguez has been in Qatar for the last 12 months, contributing five goals and seven assists in 15 games after a stunning season at Everton.
Before his time at Goodison Park, the midfielder won league titles with Porto, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich, as well as two Champions League crowns with Los Blancos.

The other European club the Colombian has played for is Monaco, but he only spent a year in the principality before his performances at the 2014 World Cup – where he won the Golden Boot and goal of the tournament – netted him £63m Bernabeu.

Former Arsenal midfielder Lucas Torreira and ex-Napoli striker Dries Mertens are among the other players to sign for the club this summer. The Turkish transfer window closes tomorrow, September 8th.
