CFO of US retailer Bed, Bath & Beyond falls to his death from a New York skyscraper
The chief financial officer of US retailer Bed, Bath & Beyond has fallen to his death from a New York skyscraper.
Gustavo Arnal, 52, fell from the 18th floor of the Jenga Tower in Tribeca in lower Manhattan, police said.

Tragedy: Gustavo Arnal’s death came just days after the company announced it would close 150 stores and shed jobs to get the loss-making business back on track
Arnal’s death on Friday came just days after the company said it would close 150 stores and cut jobs to reverse the loss-making business.
MailOnline reported that Arnal was sued for artificially inflating the company’s share price in order to sell its shares at a higher value.
The lawsuit alleges shareholders lost nearly £1billion when Arnal and a majority investor got involved in a “pump and dump” scheme.
The document was filed just a week before Arnal’s death.
