Real Madrid fans sing the praises of Eden Hazard after he came on as a substitute and scored his first European goal in 650 days in a 3-0 Champions League win over Celtic.
The winger has endured a nightmare in the Spanish capital since arriving from Chelsea in 2019 but things are starting to change in the second half of 2022.
The 31-year-old started the group game at Celtic Park on the bench but was brought on in the 30th minute, replacing the injured Karim Benzema.

Vinicius Junior scored for Real for the first time in the 65th minute before the £100m man drifted into the Celtic half and skipped a challenge and handed a lovely pass to Luka Modric.
The Croatian scored an outrageous shot outside the boot goal after a few rebounds in the penalty area.
Hazard’s strong performance was then rewarded with 13 minutes from time, scoring his first European goal in 650 days and his first free play in over five years.

Real Madrid fans quickly took to social media to praise the winger for his superb performance.
One fan wrote: “Eden Hazard has averaged a goal or assist every 30 (!) minutes this season. Back to his best.
Another said: “Let your apologies be as loud as your disrespect. Eden Hazard is back!
A third said: “Hazard was phenomenal today, he could actually have a good season.

Hazard was a star for Chelsea before making his big move to the Bernabeu and fans are now wondering if he could return to his best if he stays fit.

While a third tweeted: “That was Vintage Hazard, tears in my eyes.
Another added: “Hazard best player on the pitch.”


Real midfielder Toni Kroos was also asked about his teammate Hazard after full-time and broke it up perfectly.
He explained: “Danger? It was never a question of quality, it was his physical condition, the injuries. He came on as a substitute today and did well. Let’s hope he keeps it up.”
However, Hazard has only played 39 minutes in LaLiga so far this season, as well as the 60 minutes he played in the Champions League last night.
