These photographers prove they don’t need all the colors of the rainbow to create truly mesmerizing images.

Her photography was awarded in Black and White Photo Prize 2022a photography competition that provides a platform for “incredible” monochrome photography around the world.

The competition, in its inaugural year, welcomed photographic submissions in five categories – landscape, architecture, street, portrait, and fauna and flora.

A mesmerizing image of a silverback mountain gorilla in Uganda, an evocative image of a beaten path in the Peak District and a romantic light shot over a meadow in the Dolomites were among the photographs that wowed the judges.

However, it is an adorable image of a cheetah surrounded by her tiny cubs, captured by Belgian photographer Johan Willems, which came out on top overall and earned the top prize of £873 (€1,000).
