A 51-year-old woman has died in a home under “suspicious” circumstances, prompting a police investigation.
Residents at the Holme Park property in south-west Adelaide alerted the emergency services in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
A 34-year-old man, who knows the woman and lives in the same apartment, is helping police after being taken out of the house in handcuffs.

Neighbor Michelle Swincer told News Corp it was “worrying” to see plainclothes police officers and detectives on the street.
“It’s very sad, I know things happen, but it’s quite confronting when it happens on your street,” Ms Swincer said.
Detective Superintendent Michael Fisher said it was too early to know the cause of death and urged anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
